Indian nationals do not require a visa; instead, an entry permit is arranged by trusted local travel agent seamlessly. SDF (Sustainable Development Fee) of Rs. 1200 per person, per night is applicable.
Requirements:
- Recommendation letter from local host/ counterpart
- Valid Passport or Voter Identity Card
- Birth Certificate for children below the age of 18 years
- Duly completed entry permit application form
- The Department may ask for additional documents during assessment, if required
Passport must have minimum validity of six months from the intended date of departure from Bhutan
Passport Sized Photograph
Should not be older than six months and should be color copy
portrait style with eyes open and forehead and ears clearly visible
should be in white background without border
